The Gosselin Sextuplets &
Discovery Health Channel

If you are not familiar with the Gosselin family portrait– you soon will be! The Discovery Health Channel is airing a 20 segment series on this amazing family and showcasing the photo shoot at Willow Street Pictures as the opening sequence.

Previous segments on the Discovery Health Channel showed the real life challenges the Gosselin's face with not only the regular day to day activities but how difficult it is to gather all the children together and have them sit still for a group family portrait.

While they said it could never be done – The artist, Darren Modricker, of Willow Street Pictures along his creative team of assistants stepped up to the challenge of creating a family portrait of the Gosselin's and it included both mother & father with their sextuplets and twins. As you can see, the photo shoot was a huge success. Above is one of the family portraits which Kate and Jon Gosselin fell in love with.

Willow Street Pictures started the year with another amazing project with the Gosselin family. Our first meeting was a photo shoot with NBC that took place only days after the children left the hospital. This meeting would prove to be different in many ways. The sextuplets are now two and half years old and full of energy!

This photo shoot presented Darren, the artist at Willow Street Pictures, with many challenges. Not only was it eight children who were running around the studio but now there was a full film crew to add to the chaos.

As soon as the children were all in our studio, they immediately ran over to the “kids play area” and started enjoying the toys and felt right at home. At Willow Street Pictures, we always allow time for children run around and play before the photo shoot begins as well as during the actual family portrait.

After the children had a chance to play for awhile, Jon and Kate Gosselin started changing the sextuplets and twins into their wardrobe for the group family portrait.
