Willow Street Pictures has been featured on NBC, Discovery Health, and most recently on TLC for the show Jon & Kate + 8.

We have been featured on the show’s opening scene that quickly gives you an idea about what it’s like in our studio on a photo shoot with sextuplets and twins. Willow Street Pictures is also featured for an entire episode showing behind the scenes action creating their family portrait at an outdoor location in Berks County.

If you missed that episode but still feel you know our artwork, you probably have seen the family portraits on the walls of Jon & Kate’s home. Willow Street Pictures created beautiful artwork of the family beginning with newborn images to images of their current age. To view more CLICK HERE.

The waterfront in our part of Reading, PA is getting a lot of attention since a developer is looking to invest up to 3 billion dollars to make an entirely new development here. The plan is called RiverView.

The project was announced earlier this year as a $1.1 billion neighborhood of nine new buildings, 2,000 apartments and condos, shops, restaurants, offices and a waterfront park on 31.5 acres around Canal Street.

Now project officials have decided they want to invest another $1.6 billion to $1.7 billion in the project — for a total of close to $2.8 billion — and include a sports and entertainment complex, as well as more commercial and retail space.

The development would cover 80.4 acres along the Schuylkill River from Reading Area Community College south to the area around Willow Street Pictures, 580 Willow Street Reading, PA.

"This is going to change Reading forever," said Edward V. Giannasca II, President and Chief Executive of the project’s development company, Giannasca Development Group LLC.

This news is going to be hard to top. We will keep you posted on the developments.
